Eric Gechter, MD
Ophthalmologist
Dr. Eric Gechter is a board-certified ophthalmologist. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Oklahoma and his medical degree from Universidad Autonoma de Guadalajara in Mexico. He completed separate residency trainings in general surgery and ophthalmology at Kings County Hospital Center / SUNY in Brooklyn, New York, in 1979 and 1982, respectively.

Arnulfo Mansur, MD
Ophthalmologist
Dr. Arnulfo Mansur is a board-certified ophthalmologist who has more than 30 years of experience in the field. He received his medical degree from Universidad del Norte and completed his residency training in ophthalmology at the Universidad Javeriana Hospital La Santamaritana Colombia.

Heather B. Seith, MD
Ophthalmologist
Dr. Heather Seith is a board-certified ophthalmologist. She graduated from Yale University in New Haven, Connecticut, with honors in her major of biology and neuroscience; she was also recognized with a Clarence W. Mendell award. Dr. Seith continued her medical education at Albert Einstein School of Medicine in the Bronx, New York, where she completed her medical degree in 2000. She completed an internship at Jersey Shore Medical Center in Neptune, New Jersey, and her residency training in ophthalmology at Yale-New Haven Hospital.
Mary W. Tam
Ophthalmologist
Dr. Mary W. Tam is a highly skilled ophthalmologist with expertise in corneal, cataract, and refractive surgeries, including LASIK and PRK. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Psychobiology from the University of California, Los Angeles, in 2012. Dr. Tam then went on to earn her Master of Science in Biomedical Sciences and Doctor of Medicine degrees from Tufts University School of Medicine in Boston.
After completing a transitional year internship at Newton-Wellesley Hospital, Dr. Tam continued her training with a residency in Ophthalmology at Stony Brook University in New York, where she was honored to serve as chief resident in her final year. During her residency, she was deeply involved in ophthalmic research, collaborating with leading experts in the field.
Dr. Tam further honed her skills through a prestigious fellowship in Cornea, Cataract, External Disease, and Keratorefractive Surgery at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center. Over the course of three years, she assisted in performing LASIK and PRK surgeries before transitioning to conducting these procedures herself. Currently, Dr. Tam practices as a full-time ophthalmologist at Aran Eye Associates, where she continues to provide expert care to her patients.
Samuel J. Yankelove
Ophthalmologist
Dr. Samuel J. Yankelove is a distinguished, board-certified ophthalmologist with over 40 years of experience in delivering exceptional eye care. Originally from the East Coast, he earned his Medical Doctorate and specialized in eye surgery at the University of Maryland. After building his expertise in Cataract and Refractive Surgery in Houston, Dr. Yankelove relocated to Florida to continue his practice.
With a strong foundation in medical education and a focus on compassionate, patient-centered care, Dr. Yankelove is committed to helping his patients achieve optimal outcomes while providing a positive, supportive experience. He is a Life Fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, and has held leadership roles, including committee chair, at the Harris County Medical Society.
Outside of his professional work, Dr. Yankelove is an avid photographer and enjoys playing tennis, pickleball, and scuba diving. He also cherishes time with his golden doodle, Penelope. Passionate about global health, Dr. Yankelove has volunteered with SEE International, a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing eye care to underserved populations worldwide. His humanitarian efforts, often alongside his wife, Dale, have taken him to countries such as India, Africa, and Vietnam, where he has performed cataract surgeries that have restored sight to countless individuals.
Dr. Yankelove’s extensive medical knowledge, dedication to patient care, and commitment to making a difference both locally and internationally have left a profound impact on the field of ophthalmology.
