Optometry covers routine eye exams, eyeglasses and contact lenses, as well as diagnostic testing and the treatment of common eye conditions, such as dry eyes. Ophthalmology includes diagnosis and treatment of many different eye diseases and disorders, such as cataracts, glaucoma, macular degeneration, and more.
